US Pledges more vaccine

US Pledges 500 million more Covid-19 Vaccine.

The United States of America, President Jeo Biden addressed a Covid-19 summit of world's leaders Wednesday with a promise to donate a historic Extra 500 million vaccine to countries struggling to overcome the pandemic. This is an all hands on deck crises, he further said that America will become arsenal for vaccines as we were the arsenal for democracy in the world war-II. The plead from the Jeo Biden  at the summit, held virtually from the White House, brings the total US commitment of donated vaccine to 1.1 billion more than the rest of the world combined. We have already shipped 160 million of these doses to 100 countries, Biden said for everyone shot  we have administered to date in America. We have now committed to do three shots to the rest of the world.

The new tranche of half of a billion vaccines will be from Pfizer and will go to low income and middle income countries. He further addressed that we are challenging world's leaders to vaccinate 70 % of every country by September 2022, the White House said in statement. We need other high income countries to deliver on their own ambitions, he said in his opening remarks . We are not going to solve this crises with half measures. Biden stressed that the surge of vaccines must only be donated, with no political strings attached a veiled dig at China in particular.

After he spoke, Spain announced at the United Nations in New York that it was boosting its commitment to 30 million total vaccines, while Japan said that it would be increase its contribution to 60 million. USA  and other wealthy countries have been criticized by the WHO for their plans to roll out booster shots for elderly and high risk population, while much of the world faces a severe shortage in doses.

Just 3.6 percent of Africa's eligible populations have been inoculated  compared with an average of more than 60 % in Western Europe. The summit technically held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The richest countries of the world are donating millions of vaccines to the poor or low income countries just to provide a large number of vaccine available in their countries to  up-bring the doses of Vaccine.

In Pakistan most of the countries have provided vaccines like Pfizer, Medrona, Astrazeneca vaccines to provide better facilities within the country to help poor and low income people free of cost vaccines. Another policy is also under table that after November 2021 the Government of Pakistan will fix the price of one dose of vaccine that may be Rs.1270/- and same price would be being booster one.

The Corona Virus cases goes down in Pakistan and new cases are also reducing every day and total rate of Corona Cases is 4.15 of total population which is good thing for a country like Pakistan who is already facing challenges.
