Glasgow Confrence 2021

                          

                   The World Environment Conference was held in Glasgow, UK. All the world leaders attended and conference and they agreed that the World Environment Conference would be a great effort to save the world. G-8 and G-20 countries stressed that China must reduce its dependence on coal in the coming years and take measures to protect its industry from environmental pollution. The world is currently facing severe global environmental issue due to which weather is changing rapidly all over the world. Somewhere the summer season is turning into a cold and somewhere summer season is starting well before time, it is also one of global warming issue. The rapid changes that humans have made upon this earth due to which now we are facing global warming issues.

                 All the world leaders were worried about issue of global warming and tried to agree that global warming should be controlled as soon as possible before the sea level rise and many cities of the world sink. Pakistan is on the list of ten countries affected by global warming where the weather is changing rapidly. Sudden change or decrease in the rainy season is a sign of global warming and Pakistan will have to take special measures in the coming times to save the country from global warming. The rapid melting of glaciers on the other hand, indicates that the temperature of the planet is changing rapidly with each passing year. Countries affected by global warming need to take special measures. The Billion Trees Project of Pakistan has gained worldwide fame. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson highly appreciated the plan of Prime Minister Imran Khan to plant billions of trees a big step towards global warming.

          US President Joe Biden has called on China to gradually shut down its coal-fired industry over the next 10 years and to control polluting industries so that the United States can improve relations with China. At the end of the World Environment Conference, all countries expressed their determination to save the world from a problem like global warming in the near future. China also expressed its determination to work with International Community against Global Warming. In the near future, it will reduce its dependence on coal and take control of the industries that have caused air pollution. On the other hand, in the midst of the ongoing global environmental conference in Glasgow, protesters continued their demonstrations and called the conference a joke. All the developed countries have already established big industries and industries polluted the environment and now a conference is being convened to tackle the issue of global warming.

           It is true that global warming is affecting the whole world. Climate change is taking place rapidly. Winter season is starting soon in hot countries and summer season is getting longer in developed and cold countries. There has been heavy rainfall in some parts of the country, which has led to flooding and reduced rainfall in many other countries of the world effected from global warming, which is a clear indication that global climate change is accelerating glaciers. The earth's temperature is expected to rise sharply. If global environmental problems are not controlled, the world's temperatures could change dramatically. Due to which the cities of many countries of the world are in danger of drowning near the coast. The biggest threat to the global environment is mainly industries of either advanced countries or developed countries. Air pollution is also an alarming situation in the world. Now a day, in Pakistan pollution is at high peak, Lahore one of the famous city of Pakistan is most polluted city being No.1 in the world for last many date where air quality index is very low and very bad.

                Low air quality index in India especially Delhi, Mumbai, some cities of China, Bangladesh, including Afghanistan and Pakistan air quality index shows about the air pollution rate in the South Asia region. This is also one of the factor of world global warming or air pollution. Burning of coal in many industries in the world also shows that it is one of the major reason being polluted air quality due to which diseased are being spread by this industry.
