How are
you friends? I hope you are all well. The air quality index in South Asia is
very bad at the moment, especially in India and Pakistan. Delhi is number
one in India in pollution. Similarly, Lahore in Pakistan has been number one in
pollution for the last several days. According to the World Health
Organization, the lack of improvement in the air quality index in such
countries indicates that there is a sharp rise in air pollution affected and if
the air quality index remains poor for a long time, air pollution will remain
high, then their chances of longevity will disappear and your life will be reduced
to 04/05 years.
Deterioration of the air quality index causes
airborne particles to be added which are apparently called pollutants but
affect modern. Respiratory diseases spread rapidly and certainly inside all air
pollution when citizens breathe. The environment of this whole area often
deteriorates and the health of all the citizens living there is almost
deplorable. After a week of abortion was ordered, schools, colleges and
universities were closed due to lack of air pollution. While in Lahore Pakistan
has been number one among the most polluted cities in the world for several
consecutive days. The government has decided to give a full week lock down in Lahore
due to which all the transport in the city will be closed which is a major
cause of air pollution. Similarly in the Government of Pakistan has taken many
steps to reduce the pollution in Punjab Province. You can't burn garbage in an
open environment and you can't bring vehicles plying transport on the road.
Going a step further, the Government of Pakistan has taken a stand on air
pollution which has become a very serious problem. The session has been
convened to find out which practitioners can reduce their pollution.
Among other measures, the Government of Pakistan is also
considering how to use artificial rain to reduce air pollution. If artificial
rain falls, what percentage of air pollution will it reduce? Industries also
have a big role to play in air pollution. Toxic fumes from industries
accumulate in the air due to which air pollution increases rapidly and the air
quality index deteriorates quickly. The air quality index means that the air is
not clean. You are not breathing in a clean air which makes you prone to
diseases. It is because of air pollution, schools, colleges and universities
have to be closed. Now inside Lahore, Lahore High Court, Lahore has ordered the
Punjab government to allow 50 per cent employees from each department to work
from home. All measures means reduction of air pollution. With air pollution
comes a big problem that causes headaches for the government is the fog which
causes you to have to shut down your motorways and motorways every year. The
railway and airport system is badly affected. Air travel and railway travel is
also affected which caused reduction in the revenue of any government. The
country's motorways, from which the government receives revenue, also have to
be shut down again and again. Accidents cause loss of precious lives and the
country suffers.
Now, in all these situations, what safety measures
should we take? Remember that you should wear face mask regularly. Do not go
out of the house unnecessarily. Try to use glasses. All members of the family
should wear face mask and glasses regularly. In addition, small children should
be given face masks. Do not go to the place of high rush and high pollution
unnecessarily. Avoiding Fog and Air Pollution and smog are one of the major
problems of any developing country. One of the major causes of air pollution is
the burning of crop residues. Cities like New Delhi, Lahore become one of the
most polluted cities in the world including some cities of China and the air
quality index gets very bad there which means you are breathing in extremely
polluted air. If the citizens of any country continue to breathe in very
polluted air quality, then these surveys have revealed that your life span is
five to seven years is less. Artificial rain is a big step in that direction,
but it remains to be seen whether governments in developing countries can
afford the cost of artificial rain over a large area and how much air pollution
can be reduced after this rain. This question is also very important.
Similar steps have been taken by the government of
India to reduce the pollution in its Capital New Delhi where the school,
colleges and universities were closed and air quality index was found very bad.
So it can be safely concluded that air quality index in South Asia is very bad
and by the passage of every year this problem is become worse. In winter season
South Asia is also suffering from Fog which is another big problem which seriously
affect any country in the region.
